Greetings from the cave
At lunchtime yesterday I checked the salad leaves growing in my greenhouse in the sunshine, took a few breaths of ‘outside-the -house-sunshine’ air, then slunk back to the cave.
And woke this morning to find this:
The white blob on the upper right is the greenhouse.
The real problem is the ice – the weight on the flowers and plants has broken the stems and the last of the rhubarb is kaput. Walking is pretty lethal too.
Can I go back to hibernate now?
On the other hand, I do have a working outline of the new book to get my teeth into, so I can dream away, creating award winning romance during hibernation, while my extra body fat is consumed all on its own.
Well I can dream. 🙂
